Most "vanilla" soap on the market is scented with a fragrance oil built to imitate vanilla. The Vanilla Absolute is scented with the real thing: genuine vanilla absolute, used at a generous rate in our cold-process base, so the scent reads warm and rounded, closer to the vanilla bean itself than to a candle-aisle approximation.
Vanilla is known for its warm, comforting character, and beyond scent, it lends the finished bar a soft golden-cream color with no added dyes. Like our other essential-oil scented bars, expect the aroma to mellow gently over the curing period, a natural part of how scenting agents behave in cold-process soap.
Cured for several weeks, hand-poured, hand-cut, and left with its full natural glycerin content, The Vanilla Absolute lathers rich and conditions the way only true, unstripped soap can.
Each bar is 5 oz, handmade in small batches from the finest ingredients we can source, hand-poured, hand-cut, and individually wrapped for gift-giving straight off the shelf. Because every batch is made by hand, no two bars are ever quite identical; slight variation in color is part of the craft, not a flaw.
